LEVEL 3 Hybrid/Electric Vehicle Repair

Cost: £199 +VAT per delegate

Qualification: This Level 3 course when successfully completed will give an IMI certified qualification allowing you to replace high voltage components.

To book you must hold an IMI level 2 qualification.

This course will cover:

 
  • How to work safely on hybrid and related vehicle systems
  • The correct methods for shutting down and isolating high voltage systems and replacing high voltage components.
  • The layout and construction of hybrid and electric drive powertrain systems, and the identification of key components
  • The principles of high voltage battery construction, management and monitoring systems and diagnosing using live data and a range of diagnostic equipment.

Harness The Power Of PicoScope - An Introduction to Oscilloscope

During this course our Opus IVS Master Technicians will guide you through how and where an Oscilloscope fits into your diagnostic strategy, whilst showing you all the essential steps you will need to get up and running in your workshop!

The team will walk you through getting started with diagnosing common issues, ensuring that you leave with the confidence to use the diagnostic power of a PicoScope!

Cost: £170 + VAT per delegate. Includes your training manual, breakfast, lunch and refreshments.

This course will cover:

 
  • Basic introduction to the PicoScope and its equipment
  • Why & where to use a PicoScope
  • How to set up PicoScope and PicoScope 7 software
  • How to use Pico’s waveform library for referencing
  • Understanding PicoScope and understanding information from various sensors
  • Real life case studies from the technical teams

Type: 50% hands on and 50% theory

Qualification: This Level 2 course will end with an online test which when successfully completed will give an IMI certified qualification.

This course will cover

  • The principles of high voltage battery construction, management and monitoring systems.
